When I made them aware of the situation/issues, of course they had no idea the mold was there. To top it off I had BLACK MOLD on the ceiling and going down the wall. You have to go down to the front desk for ALL your personal needs, there are no microwaves available for use in the rooms, and the air conditioning was terrible in the rooma but freezing in the hallways.
They don't offer housekeeping to clean the rooms. And I'll say that Sam's Town has THE BEST cocktail service and servers in Tunica. Though I complained about the front desk lady, most other employees I came in contact with were friendly and nice. Yes, I'm complaining and yes, I'm 99% certain I'll return to Sam's Town, but it truly needs some updating. One night we were able to try Willie and Jose's Cantina. She also told my husband that they offered housekeeping services (which we found out the next day was not true) We had to go to the front desk and ask for extra pillows, towels, toilet paper etc and take it up to our room (and they have the audacity to charge a resort fee!) We went during the week and the only restaurant open for 2 of the days was Smokey Joe's (and you can get mighty tired of that restaurant pretty quickly). The front desk 'staff' (one lady) was not very friendly. We went in late 2021 and just went again. We used to go about every 6 weeks or so, but then 2020 hit and we stayed away like a whole year. First off, I am a BIG fan of Sam's Town and will always have a soft spot for it.
